Why Economic Issues in Grass root Governance?

The growing debates on global economic challenges has necessitated a clear understanding of the phenomenon and the likely immediate, short term, medium term and long term effect on grassroots governance. Community Dialogue

This training workshop is meant to develop participants’ skill in community dialogue

Why Community Dialogue?

The business of governance is made easier especially in democracy if there is uniformity and clarity of objectives on the part of the government and the governed. Ignorance though is not an excuse in law, in the absence of information and clear understanding of intention; government will end up devoting more time and effort to enforcement of policy than the delivery of benefits. The panacea to achieving healthy and vibrant communities includes among others inspired leadership and action from every corner of the communities within the state and the effective dissemination of qualitative information to the people. Community dialogue as a tool could be used to bring together the voices and talents of communities towards achieving government objectives; develop common issues and the resources to address them by helping to identify barriers to positive change and uncover innovative ideas. This will help generate ideas and relationships across lines that divide the government and the governed.

Clerical Staff Skill Development

This is a training workshop aim at improving the service delivery skill of clerical and secretarial staff of the state civil servant In the general process of administration, the informatics data on which decision and action wholly rest is process in the registry. Clerical staffs are responsible for supplying such, promptly and efficiently, to officers as well as keeping of records.
